Our Approach To Learning in our unique preschool is based on hands on experience, activities and individual learning.  Playing while learning not only helps children learn a subject, it also helps children to learn about rules, fair play, right and wrong.   We give  children an introduction to the basic academic skills necessary to each child’s future education.  We provide each child with a variety of activities that help build self confidence and total development for the whole child.  Each child will have the opportunity to learn in either groups or teacher lead centers and independently. The following areas are activities available for the students in a structured learning environment.

Circle time: Whole group learning which will include show and tell, stories, big books, concept theme for the week and birthday songs.

Movement: Develop large muscles through organized activities including dance, toss, running, jumping, tumbling, balancing and more.

Language and Math: Pre-reading and Pre-math activities including lessons that are prepared following the Arizona Department of Education, Early Childhood Education Standards. Some activities included numbers, shapes, colors, letters and sounds.

Social Studies/Science: Special moments in history, other cultures and current events.  Exploring, tasting, observing, and discovering activities.

Centers: Dramatic play, blocks, puppets, puzzles, games. These will allow for small muscle refinement and Math/Reading readiness.

Art: Paint, coloring, cutting, glue, shaving cream and other “messy” media for self expression and development of creativity.
